Our final Breaking Lines of 2019 touches base with one of the newest coaches among the Portland Timbers and Thorns ranks, even if Miles Joseph has been with the club for well over one year, now. But from being a part of the inaugural MLS College Draft, to a member of the original New York/New Jersey MetroStars, to a staff member on one of MLS' iconic teams to somebody that helped the Timbers reach a second MLS Cup, the Portland assistant is one of the more well-traveled personalities in the league. On this show, we start with this college days, track back to his path through his playing career, and end with his thoughts on the vocation he concedes will be with him until retirement: coaching. |
