Hosts Jake Zivin and Judah Newby are back with a new episode of Talk Timbers. 

Nate Bukaty, a longtime SKC broadcaster who has the call this Sunday on FOX, joins the hosts for a wide-ranging conversation on the broadcast experience through the first year of MLS Season Pass on Apple TV as well as FOX, and how Portland and SKC shape up ahead of Sunday's match.

In this episode of Talk Timbers, hosts Jake Zivin and Judah Newby discuss the Portland Timbers' 2-2 home draw against Austin FC, highlighting the team's positive moments and performances of Evander and Claudio Bravo. They also touch upon the Timbers' upcoming match against the Vancouver Whitecaps and the importance of getting a result.

Later in the episode, former Timber and club broadcaster Ross Smith (who will be on the call for the Vancouver match on MLS Season Pass) joins the show to talk about his return to Providence Park as an Apple TV analyst. He shares his thoughts on the current Timbers squad and their potential in the upcoming games. 

Hosts Judah Newby and Jake Zivin reflect on the Timbers' crucial away win against St. Louis City SC last weekend and discuss maintaining momentum in their upcoming home game against the Verde. 

They welcome former Timber Jack Jewsbury, also known as Captain Jack, to discuss the memorable day when 8-year-old Atticus Lane DuPre was granted a wish by Make-A-Wish Oregon to play against the Timbers with his team, The Green Machine.

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, during the home match against Austin FC, the Timbers will celebrate the 10th "wish-a-versary" of the 2013 Atticus match. The event will also provide a fundraising opportunity to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, which assists children battling critical illnesses in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
